Best Pet-Friendly Cafés in Singapore

Singapore might be known for its rules, but when it comes to cafés, things have definitely become more pet-friendly over the years.

We’ve been exploring quite a few spots ourselves, some planned, some we just happened to stumble upon, and honestly, it’s gotten much easier to bring your dog along for coffee or brunch in Singapore.

Some cafés go all out with full pet menus, while others keep things simple with outdoor seating and a relaxed vibe. Either way, it’s nice not having to leave your furry companion at home.

If you’re planning a weekend café hop or even just a quick coffee run with your dog, here are a few pet-friendly cafés in Singapore that we think are genuinely worth checking out.

☕ 1. Sun Ray Café - One of the Easiest Pet Cafés to Keep Coming Back To

We’ve visited Sun Ray Café more than once, and it’s one of those places that just feels easy.

The biggest plus? Pets are allowed indoors, which, in Singapore’s heat, makes a huge difference. Not many pet-friendly cafés in Singapore offer that, and you’ll really appreciate it, especially during midday.

The atmosphere is very relaxed, and you’ll likely see other pet owners just hanging out, which makes the whole place feel quite welcoming.

We also like that they have a proper pet menu, so your dog isn’t just sitting there watching you eat (which, honestly, always feels a bit sad).

Why we’d go back:

  • Indoor air-conditioned seating (rare in Singapore)
  • Meals made for dogs
  • Comfortable, no-pressure vibe

🌿 2. Ménage Café - Come for the Food, Stay for the Vibe

We’ll be honest, this is one of those cafés you notice because it looks good.

But thankfully, it’s not just about aesthetics. The space is quite open, which makes it easier if you’re bringing a dog (less cramped, less stressful).

We’ve seen quite a few pet owners here, which usually says a lot about how genuinely pet-friendly the place is.

The menu is also quite extensive, with options for both humans and pets, so you’re not limited to just coffee and cake.

Why it stands out:

  • Spacious indoor seating
  • Wide variety of food for both you and your pet
  • Nice, photo-friendly interior

🌸 3. Café de Nicole’s Flower - A Café That Feels Like an Experience

Walking into Café de Nicole’s Flower feels a bit like stepping into a garden.

There’s a lot going on visually - flowers, colours, little details everywhere, so if you enjoy aesthetic cafés, this is probably your kind of place.

We didn’t expect it to be pet-friendly indoors, so that was a nice surprise.

It’s especially popular for desserts, so if you’re coming here, you might want to try their soufflé pancakes or signature drinks.

Good to know:

  • Indoor pet-friendly (not very common in Singapore)
  • Strong aesthetic / themed vibe
  • Better for desserts and café hopping than a full meal

🥐 4. Plain Meredith - A Chill Spot for Both You and Your Dog

Plain Meredith feels more like a neighbourhood café than a trendy hotspot.

Located in One Holland Village, it’s the kind of place you go when you just want something simple, good food, a comfortable seat, and somewhere your dog is welcome.

We like that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating, so you can choose depending on the weather (which is honestly very helpful in Singapore).

Also, small detail but worth mentioning, they have pet-friendly desserts like popsicles and ice cream, which is always a fun bonus.

Why we like it:

  • Indoor + outdoor seating options
  • Pet treats available
  • Relaxed, easygoing atmosphere

🌊 5. Yardbird Southern Table & Bar - A Nice Option for a Slower Evening

This one feels more like a “plan ahead” kind of place rather than a quick coffee stop.

Located at Marina Bay Sands, it’s better if you’re coming in the evening when the weather is cooler. Pets are only allowed outdoors, but the waterfront view definitely makes it worth it.

The food leans heavier (Southern comfort food), so we’d say come hungry.

Best for:

  • Sunset or evening visits
  • Scenic dining with your pet
  • When you want something a bit more special

🥞 6. Earlybird – Casual Brunch with Your Pup

Earlybird has a bright, cheerful vibe, it’s not too serious, which makes it great for a relaxed brunch.

Pets are only allowed in the outdoor seating area, but if you go early in the day or later in the afternoon, it’s usually quite comfortable.

They’re especially known for their chicken and pancakes, which is worth trying if it’s your first visit.

Why people like it:

  • Affordable brunch options
  • Casual, colourful setting
  • Good for a simple outing with your dog

🍽️ 7. Bread Street Kitchen – Dining with a View

If you’re around Marina Bay Sands and want something slightly more polished, this is a solid option.

Bread Street Kitchen offers pet-friendly outdoor seating along the promenade, so you still get the view while dining with your dog.

It leans more towards British-style dishes, and overall feels a bit more structured compared to typical cafés.

What to expect:

  • Nice waterfront views
  • Slightly more upscale dining
  • Better for slower meals than quick coffee runs

🐶 Tips for Visiting Pet-Friendly Cafés in Singapore

From our own experience, a few things help make the outing smoother:

  • Always check pet policies (some only allow outdoor seating)
  • Bring your own essentials like a water bowl and leash
  • Try going during off-peak hours for a more relaxed experience
  • Make sure your pet is comfortable and well-behaved around others

Singapore’s pet-friendly café scene is still growing, but it’s definitely improving, and there are more dog-friendly café options now than before.

🐾 Final Thoughts

From cosy indoor cafés like Sun Ray Café and Ménage Café to scenic waterfront spots around Marina Bay Sands, there’s quite a good mix of pet-friendly cafés in Singapore today.

Whether you’re planning a casual brunch, a café-hopping day, or just a simple coffee break with your dog, you’ve got options.

And honestly, sometimes it’s not even about the café. it’s just nice being able to bring your dog along and not worry about leaving them behind.
